Bird Flu

Bird Flu has infected Eastern China, Shanghai in particular.  A few days ago there was a man admitted to the hospital here in Huzhou who tested positive to the virus.  The good thing is that it doesn't seem to be spreading between people, the bad news is that they haven't figured out how people are getting the virus.  Considering that people here like their chicken undercooked and their eggs half raw I'm not really surprised that this is happening.  From what I have observed there seems to be almost zero regulation on food here it seems more surprising that this doesn't happen more often.  Anyway, we are not eating any poultry when we go out to eat, which makes food a little more challenging considering it is usually noodles and chicken or rice and chicken, we are down to rice or noodles :)
